Optum Financial Health Benefits accounts is driving all platforms toward a domain driven structure with high availability in the cloud, and reducing the PCI footprint. Card Domain would allow us to maintain all PCI data within a single platform and ensure use of standard practices across all card products. This creates near real-time processing and settlement via RESTful APIs with a single card processor which enables Optum Financial to become the source of record for account balance and maintenance. The platform will integrate with card capabilities to provide the member with an enhanced experience, through, stacked card functionality, account portability, mail tracking, and digital accessibility.
